JOB DESCRIPTION
We are searching for someone identifying as Tangata Whenua, who has a positive attitude, with an attentive work ethic.
The applicant needs to a great communicator who has a good understanding of Te Reo Māori.
Previous experience on-set is essential. Previous experience of directing film is helpful but not essential.
The Co-Director — depending on experience level — will be mentored through pre-production and will join the team filming on set.
They will direct a number of their own scenes, and when applicable will direct within the 2nd Unit.
Current shoot dates are not yet confirmed, for now we agree on a letter of intent, and once the final funding is obtained the successful applicant will gain the role advertised. The pay rate is open to negotiation.
